Cocaine with an estimated street value of €21,000 along with a firearm and ammunition has been seized in Tallaght.
The find was made yesterday at a house in the Donomore Park area.
A man in his 40s was arrested and is being detained at Tallaght Garda station.
He is due to appear at Tallaght District court tomorrow.
Separately, gardaí in Mullingar carried out a search in the town on last Friday evening.
During the course of the search, a cannabis factory was discovered, with the capability of producing a substantial amount of the drug.
There have been no arrests at this point, and investigations are continuing.
