The retrial of the man charged with the murder of rugby player Shane Geoghegan will begin next January.
A jury failed to reach a verdict last week following a four-week trial at the Central Criminal Court.
24-year-old Barry Doyle with addresses at Portland Row in Dublin and Hyde Road in Limerick pleaded not guilty to murder.
