A man has been arrested in connection with the disappearance of Sandra Collins in Mayo ten years ago.
The 58-year-old was arrested in the Ballina area today and is being held at Ballina Garda Station on suspicion of withholding information in relation to the case.
A 46-year-old man arrested yesterday on suspicion of involvement in the death of the 29-year-old was released without charge this evening.
A file is being prepared for the Director of Public Prosecutions.
Ms Collins was last seen in Killala on the night of 4 December 2000.
The gardaí are continuing to carry out extensive searches and inquiries in the area as part of their investigation.
A 21-year-old woman, who was arrested earlier in the week on suspicion of withholding information, was released without charge yesterday.
