The PSNI says two suspected victims of human trafficking were rescued in a police raid in the Belfast area yesterday.

Detectives believe both of the 21-year-old women had been trafficked for the purposes of sexual exploitation.

A 37-year-old man was arrested during the raid by the PSNI's Organised Crime Branch.

Police said the women were now receiving specialist support.
