A 19-year-old man has been charged in connection with the death of a 46-year-old woman near Castelbar, in Co Mayo.
The body of Noreen Kelly Eadon was discovered at her home at Derrycrieve, Islandeady in the early hours of Wednesday morning.
A post-mortem examination on the body of a mother-of-four from Mayo has confirmed that she died from stab wounds.
The man is due to appear before the district court in Swinford in the morning.
