Eight people were taken ashore after their 40-foot motor cruiser ran aground off Co Kerry this morning.
The cruiser beached on rocks just before 1am off the Mucklagh Beg, north of Tralee Bay.
Crews with the Fenit Lifeboat Station were at the scene within 20 minutes of being alerted.
The cruiser is said to have been extensively damaged.
