Police are investigating a suspected pipe bomb attack in Co Tyrone.
Windows in two houses at Castlehill Terrace in Coalisland were shattered by an explosion at around 3.30am.
Two cars were also damaged.
A motive for the attack has not yet been established.
Elsewhere, 30 houses in Derry were evacuated by police after a suspicious device was found in a car.
A British army bomb disposal team attended the scene in Cromore Gardens in the Cregan area.
Families were moved to a nearby centre overnight as a precaution.
