A youth in his late teens has been arrested after a hand gun was seized from him.
The teen was arrested at East Road, East Wall, Dublin 3, this afternoon.
The operation was carried out by local detective and drug units from the North Central Division.
The teenager was being held at Store Street Garda Station.
