A pedestrian has been killed in a single-vehicle crash in Co Sligo.
The accident happened on the N17 at Collooney at around 5.45am.
The pedestrian was seriously injured at the scene and was taken to Sligo General Hospital where he was later pronounced dead.
Elsewhere, a 16-year-old boy who was injured in Cavan yesterday morning is now in a stable condition in hospital.
Over the weekend four people died in separate crashes in counties Kilkenny, Dublin, Cavan and Offaly.
