The Commercial Court has granted an order to Anglo Irish Bank for the repayment of a loan of almost €90m by a Co Laois developer.

The court granted the order against Thomas Keane of Corrigeen, Stradbally, Co Laois, who controls companies associated with the Killenard and Heritage Hotels and Golf Club in Co Laois.

A receiver was appointed to the Heritage Hotel in June this year by ACC Bank.
