The District Court in Co Roscommon has heard an application for the address of a 21-year-old man charged criminal damage and arson at a house in Longford over a week ago to be amended.
At Harristown District Court in Castlerea this morning, Supt Brendan Connolly asked Judge Geoffrey Brown to amend the address of Martin Nevin from the address stated on a charge sheet before the court to number 40 Springlawn, Longford.
Supt Connolly also asked Judge Brown to amend Mr Nevin's date of birth, stated on the charge sheet, from the 13 July 1989 to 3 July 1989.
There were no objections to the Garda application and Judge Geoffrey Brown agreed to the amendment.
An application was made for Mr Nevin to be remanded in custody until another sitting of the court in Harristown on 22 October and Judge Brown remanded him to that date.
Mr Nevin was legally represented in court and no objections were made to any application before the court and no other submissions were made to the court.
