Two teenagers questioned about an attack on a Polish man in Coolock in Dublin at the weekend have been released without charge.

A file is being prepared for the Director of Public Prosecutions.

Lukasz Rzeszutko, 27, died at Beaumont Hospital yesterday evening. He had been on a life-support unit since the assault early on Saturday.

A 20-year-old man appeared in court yesterday charged with assault causing harm.

Edward Byrne, with an address at a Dublin 8 YMCA hostel, was remanded in custody to appear at Cloverhill District Court on Friday.
