Police are investigating an alleged assault on a prison officer at Maghaberry Prison in Co Antrim.
Detectives said the officer was attacked by a prisoner shortly before 11am yesterday.
He was treated for neck wounds at the Royal Victoria Hospital in Belfast.
His injuries are described as minor.
