Three people have been arrested in connection with the murder of Eamon Dunne in Dublin last April.

The two men and one woman were detained during searches at five homes in Dublin this morning.

Two handguns, ammunition and 1kg of cocaine with an estimated street value of €70,000 were also recovered.

A woman and a man were arrested at a flat on Hardwick Street, while another man was arrested in Blanchardstown.

They are being detained at Store Street, Whitehall and Mountjoy garda stations.

The men can be questioned for up to a week and the woman can be questioned for up to three days.

Mr Dunne was shot dead in the Fassaugh House Pub in Cabra on 23 April.
