A 22-year-old man was injured in a shooting in Coolock in Dublin in the early hours of this morning.
A number of shots were fired outside a house on Adare Road just before 1.30am.
The man received a gunshot wound to the leg and was in a stable condition in Beaumont Hospital.
There were two other men and two women in the house with the victim at the time.
A 24-year-old man has been arrested in connection with the shooting and is being detained at Ballymun Garda Station.
Gardaí later discovered a car nearby that they believe was used by the gunman.
The scene of the shooting was sealed-off for a technical examination.
