11-year-old charged over Ardoyne riots

An 11-year-old boy is due to appear in court later this month to face charges in connection with trouble in the Ardoyne area of Belfast on 12 July.

The child has been charged with riotous assembly and possession of an offensive weapon.

A 19-year-old man, arrested yesterday on similar charges, has been released from custody.
