An illegal dump and laundering plant has been discovered at a premises at Reban, Shantonagh, Castleblaney, Co Monaghan.
Revenue Customs Service, gardaí and Environmental Protection Agency officers from Monaghan Co Council have carried out a search at the location.
The area is sealed off and a forensic technical examination of the scene is underway.
There were no arrests and the operation is ongoing.
