A man was injured in what is believed to have been a paramilitary-style attack in Derry early this morning.
The man, in his 20s, was attacked in the Strule Gardens area of the Waterside at around 2am by three men wearing balaclavas and carrying golf clubs and a hammer.
He was treated in hospital for a head injury and suspected broken hands.
The PSNI has appealed for anyone who witnessed the attack or with information to contact them.
