A post mortem examination was carried out today on the body of a 60-year-old man who died in hospital after being assaulted in Sligo town.
He was attacked in the Cartron Point area last Thursday.
Two men were arrested following the attack.
Two men were questioned in relation to the incident and both have been released without charge.
