A 21-year-old man was due before Antrim Magistrates' Court today in connection with the death of father-of-four Kevin McDaid in Coleraine, Co Derry, in May last year.
The man has been charged with intimidation and making threats to kill.
The victim's friend, Damien Fleming, was also badly injured in the sectarian incident in The Heights area of the town when a loyalist mob went on the rampage.
A number of people have already been charged with Mr McDaid's murder.
