A woman has appeared in court in Belfast accused of having a loaded gun close to the scene of the Ardoyne riots last week.
49-year-old Norma Elizabeth Crowder is accused of possessing a firearm and ammunition in suspicious circumstances.
Police said the German revolver, which contained six live rounds of ammunition, was found in a hide that formed part of the decking in the back garden of Ms Crowder's home.
Her home is located a short distance from the scene of the rioting at the Ardoyne shops.
Police said they believed the decking was either built as a hide or adapted for that purpose.
A PSNI detective opposed bail for Ms Crowder because it was feared she would flee.
The court was told that £1,400 in cash was also seized from the house.
A lawyer for Ms Crowder said his client had consistently denied knowing anything about the gun.
She was granted bail on condition she was electronically tagged and surrendered her passport.
