There has been an armed raid at the EBS on Castle Street in Dalkey, Co Dublin.
Two raiders possessing a firearm, believed to be a handgun, entered the premises between 2.15pm and 2.30pm and took a small sum of cash.
Gardaí say there were customers in the building society at the time. No-one was injured in the incident.
The two men made their getaway in a small car.
