Rescue teams searching for a missing man in Connemara, Co Galway, have found a body.
Galway Mountain Rescue discovered the body of a man in a steep embankment in the Maam Valley around 11.30am.
They had been searching for a missing 41-year-old man from Co Clare who went out walking on Curcog mountain half way between Maam Cross and Maam Bridge.
Sergeant Shane Cummins of Mill Street Station says the recovery operation is very difficult because of the terrain.
