Four people were rescued by lifeboat crews in separate incidents tonight.
They happened off the coasts of west Cork and Kerry.
A 40-year-old man and his 11-year-old daughter got into trouble off the Kerry coast when the man fell from his jet ski.
The pair were about 2.4km offshore at the time. The girl raised the alarm by using her mobile phone to call the Fenit Lifeboat crew.
They were later taken ashore where they were treated for cold and shock.
Meanwhile, at around 7pm this evening the Courtmacsherry Lifeboat was called to an incident off Glandore in west Cork.
Two people were rescued from a 52-foot cruiser that was extensively damaged after it collided with rocks in the area.
