Six people are still being questioned in Galway by gardaí investigating the activities of a criminal gang in the west.
Ten men have been arrested so far in ‘Operation Foolscap’.
Three of them have been released without charge pending files to the Director of Public Prosecutions, while one was brought before a special sitting of Galway District Court last night.
Two men have been brought before a special sitting of Galway District Court this morning in connection with the investigation.
Brian Walsh, 29, from Mincloon, Rahoon, Co Galway, was brought before Judge Mary Fahy this morning charged with burglary. He was released on bail.
Earlier, Paul Black, who is 29 and from Rahoon, was charged with facilitating the commission of a criminal offence, namely drug dealing, by a criminal gang.
He made no reply when charged and was remanded in custody to appear in court again in Galway on 9 June.
