The PSNI has been granted more time to question a man about a murder which happened 23 years ago.
The 51-year-old suspect was arrested in Manchester and taken to Belfast for questioning about the murder of Stanley Close in August 1986.
Mr Close, 65, was found strangled in his flat in the Willowfield area of east Belfast.
