A man arrested as part of an investigation into claims of sexual assault in Drogheda a number of years ago has been released without charge.
A file is being prepared for the Director of Public Prosecutions.
The man, who is in his late 70s, was arrested in Dublin city this morning and taken to Drogheda Garda station.
