A gang of four masked men stole a safe containing cash during a burglary at a house in Larne, Co Antrim.
The PSNI said the men, who were wearing balaclavas and scarves, entered the property in Greenland Drive around 9.30pm last night.
They kept a woman downstairs and a man in an upstairs bedroom while they ransacked the property and stole the money.
The occupants were not injured but were shaken by their ordeal.
