Gardaí in Co Kerry are investigating a hit-and-run collision in which a 51-year-old man died.
The incident occurred at Tinahally on the Killorglin to Milltown Road at around 8.30pm last night.
A pedestrian was knocked down and killed by a vehicle which left the scene.
He was pronounced dead at the scene.
