Valentia Coast Guard says the search for a fisherman missing off the west Cork coast has been called off for the night.
The man, an Egyptian in his 30s, fell overboard while on an Irish fishing vessel, the Janireh, early yesterday morning.
The Navy's LE Emer, RNLI lifeboats and the Coast Guard Helicopter yesterday assisted in the search some 11 miles southwest of Fastnet Lighthouse.
The search will resume tomorrow.
