Up to three men are still being sought after they fled a garda checkpoint near Stranorlar in Co Donegal.
Gardaí have been searching for the men since Tuesday night and say further checkpoints are in place in the border area.
Two firearms have been recovered and four cars seized as part of the investigation.
One man is in custody at Letterkenny Garda Station and gardaí are seeking two or three others.
