Two held after Dublin robbery

Two men were arrested following an armed robbery in Dublin last night.

The men, one armed with a knife, entered the Topaz service station on the Howth Road at around 10.15pm.

One man jumped the counter and stole an undisclosed sum of cash, while the second man kept look out.

They fled the scene in a taxi, before getting out on Castle Avenue in Clontarf and running into nearby gardens.

Two men, aged 30 and 42, were arrested in a follow-up operation.
