Man charged over cocaine seizure

A 26-year-old man has been charged in connection with the seizure of cocaine with an estimated street value of more than €1 million.

The seizure was made by gardaí last Thursday in Blanchardstown.

Mark Touhey, with an address in Woodvale Drive in Blanchardstown, was charged under two sections of the Misuse of Drugs Act - possession of drugs for sale and supply.

He was remanded in custody by his own consent to appear before Cloverhill District Court next Thursday.
