Tiny dog discovered in hand luggage

Customs officials at Dublin Airport yesterday discovered a small dog hidden in hand luggage of a passenger who had arrived from Bulgaria.

The tiny dog had been placed in a small cage and hidden in a holdall bag.

The dog had been smuggled by a man from Bulgaria to Madrid in Spain and then on to Dublin.
