An 18-year-old man has died following a single-vehicle crash in Co Cavan in the early hours of this morning.
The crash happened between the hours of 4am and 7am at Lavey, Stradone, Co Cavan.
The man, who is believed to have been the only occupant of the Peugeot 306 van, was taken to Cavan General Hospital where he was later pronounced dead.
A section of the N3 at Lavey was closed for a time for a technical examination.
