A woman has been killed in a two-car collision on the N18 in Ennis, Co Clare.
The accident happened at approximately 9.30pm tonight at exit 13 on the N18.
The deceased was the driver of one of the cars.
Her body remains at scene.
The driver of the other car, a man, is not believed to have suffered any serious injuries.
There were no passengers in the cars.
A forensic collision investigation is taking place.
