A man was shot in the legs in an attack in Downpatrick, Co Down, last night.
The victim was bundled into a dark coloured Renault car at Saul Road and driven to the other side of town where the attack took place.
It is believed that four men were involved in the attack.
Detectives are trying to establish a motive for the shooting.
The victim's injuries are not said to be life threatening.
