A 24-year-old man has appeared at Dublin District Court charged with three firearms offences.
Derek Hutch of Chapel Farm Avenue, Lusk, was arrested on Charleville Avenue, Dublin 3, on Sunday night.
Mr Hutch was charged with possession of a semi-automatic pistol, seven rounds of ammunition and a firearms silencer.
He was remanded in custody to appear at Cloverhill Court next Tuesday.
