Two Irish arrested in Gaza still in prison

The two Irish people arrested by the Israeli Navy last Tuesday are still being held in prison and will not be released until Sunday at the earliest.

Peace Laureate, Mairead Corrigan Maguire and another Irish citizen, Derek Graham were on board a boat, 'The Spirit of Humanity' which was trying to bring humanitarian aid into Gaza.

They claim that the vessel was in iIternational waters when it was boarded and all 21 passengers and crew arrested.

The Minister for Foreign Affairs, Michael Martin, has called for their release.
