Two killed in separate road crashes

Two men have been killed in separate road crashes in Dublin and Wicklow.

A man in his 30s died after a four vehicle collision at Mullacagh on the N81, near Hollywood Cross in Co Wicklow.

Six other people were injured in the collision, which occurred at around 4.30pm.

They were taken to Naas General Hospital and Tallaght Hospital, however their injuries are not thought to be life threatening.

Meanwhile, a man was killed in a road collision in Dublin.

The man, in his early 20s, died in the collision between a motorcycle and another vehicle on the Cardiffsbridge Road in Finglas shortly before 3.30pm.

Gardai say there were two men on the motorcycle. The second man was taken to the Mater Hospital with serious injuries.

The road was closed for a technical examination, but has since re-opened.
