Two separate demonstrations were held today in protest at cutbacks at Our Lady's Children Hospital in Crumlin.

The Campaign Against Cutbacks in Crumlin organised a silent protest outside Leinster House while the Oireachtas Family Day is taking place.

The group asked people to place a teddy bear outside the Dáil to symbolise the children.

Meanwhile, the Save Our Lady's Children's Hospital Campaign held a protest outside the hospital this afternoon.

Spokesperson for the campaign Teresa Shallow said the reversal of some cuts announced this week does not go far enough.
