A 34-year-old man has been arrested by detectives investigating the murder of Kevin McDaid in Co Derry last week.
The man, who was arrested in the Coleraine area this morning, is also being questioned about the serious assault of Mr McDaid's 46-year-old neighbour Damien Fleming.
Another man detained in connection with the murder was released on bail this morning pending further inquiries.
The 41-year-old was arrested yesterday evening.
Mr McDaid was beaten to death by a group of people close to his home on 24 May.
Nine people have been charged in connection with the death of the 49-year-old father-of-four.
Six of those are accused of his murder.
