Three men have been arrested in connection with the theft of €7.6m from the Bank of Ireland in College Green in Dublin in Februrary.
A gang forced their way into the home of bank worker Shane Travers in the early hours of 27 February and forced him to go to the bank and take the cash as his family were held hostage.
Mr Travers handed the money over to the gang at Clontarf DART station later that morning.
His family was then released in the Ashbourne area in Co Meath.
A number of searches were carried out in Dublin this morning and three men were subsequently arrested.
The men, aged in their 20s and 30s, are being held at Harcourt Street, Pearse Street and Store Street Garda stations.
