A three-year-old girl was killed in a road accident in Northern Ireland last night.
Roma McAleese was struck by a car while playing outside her home at Ashdale Park in Coleraine at around 6.45pm.
The toddler was taken to hospital but died a short time later.
Police said she was not the victim of a hit-and-run accident but appealed for any witnesses to contact them.
