SIPTU's representatives at the Dublin Airport Authority have decided to defer the threatened strike and have decided to attend conciliation talks at the Labour Relations Commission tomorrow.

Following a three-hour long meeting members of SIPTU's Civil Aviation Branch issued a statement saying that they had unanimously decided to accept the invitation of the LRC to attend conciliation talks with regard to the increments payment issue.

The SIPTU branch members had threatened industrial action over the possible non-payment.
