Five people were rescued after their fishing vessel got into difficulty on Lough Swilly off the north coast of Donegal.
Two life boats and a helicopter were involved in the rescue operation.
A steel-hulled crabbing vessel ran aground at Leenan Head at around 3am this morning with five people on board.
Two Lough Swilly life boats assisted in the rescue along with the coastguard helicopter from Sligo, which airlifted the crew from the vessel.
None of the crew was injured during the incident.
