Gardaí are investigating a bank robbery in Oldcastle in Co Meath shortly after 11am this morning.
Two men dressed in high-visibility jackets and wearing balaclavas entered the bank and threatened staff and customers with knives.
They took a quantity of cash and made their getaway in a silver coloured hatchback car bearing a registration starting with 05 KE.
Gardaí are appealing to anyone who may have been in the Oldcastle area between 10.45am and 11.15am and have any information to contact Oldcastle Garda Station on 049-8541102.
