At least 50 premises across Dublin have been raided as part of a garda operation against organised crime.

Gardaí recovered €70,000 and small quantities of cocaine and cannabis and arrested a man in his 20s.

He is being held at Crumlin Garda Station.

Evidence has also been recovered from various business and private residences which is currently being examined by the Criminal Assets Bureau.

Gardaí say this evidence relates to assets which are the proceeds of crime.

Gardaí are also examining a firearm and a quantity of what is believed to be stolen property.
