Three men have been arrested in connection with the fatal stabbing of a man in Nenagh, Co Tipperary.
A 31-year-old man and a 26-year-old man were detained in the Nenagh area and a 28-year-old was arrested in Limerick a short time later.
Gardaí and ambulance staff were called to an apartment in the Summerhill area of Nenagh in the early hours of this morning.
They found a 29-year-old from Lithuania who had suffered a number of stab wounds.
He died at the scene.
His body was taken to the Mid Western Regional Hospital in Limerick for a post mortem examination.
A forensic examination of the scene took place earlier today.
