Gardaí in Waterford are investigating two separate shooting incidents in Waterford city in the last 24 hours.
Shots were also fired at a house in St John's Park at around 2.30pm this afternoon.
Five people were in the house at the time, but no-one was injured and there was no damage caused to the house.
It is also alleged that shots were fired in the Williamstown area of the city at 8pm last night.
Gardaí are also investigating a petrol bomb attack on a house in Briar Close in Templars Hall at around 12.30am this morning.
It is understood the device was thrown through the patio door of the house and gardaí say some fire damage was caused.
Gardaí believe these incidents are connected with an ongoing dispute between a small number of Travellers in Waterford.
